## In this lesson

### Prepare a film (0:10)

Here's Creator Terminal. We want the director to use our words. Press Control-O for Agents Mode, then Control-N for a new idea. Press Control-T to choose A film, narrated with music.

### Drop the script (0:24)

Now attach our script. Drop it on the message box, then type: make an explainer from this script. The file rides along with the message. A film takes a while, so we won't send it here. Let's open one made earlier.

### The first cut (0:38)

Click the finished script thread, then Page Up to the first cut. Point at the card to play it. Every line is our script's, word for word. The director only added how each one is said.

### Name the change (0:50)

To change one part, name it. Press Page Down twice to our later request: make shot 3 slower. The director changes only that shot, and cuts the film again.

### The new cut (1:02)

Point at the new cut. Shot 3 now runs nine seconds instead of six, with a pause before each idea, and nothing else has changed. The first cut is still there to compare.

### Why Is the Sky Blue? (1:13)

Here's how the new cut begins, in its own voice. Listen for shot three, now slower, with room to breathe.
