## In this lesson

### One text layer (0:07)

Here's our headline, on one text layer. Click the first letter to select it. The whole line belongs to this layer.

### Find Animate (0:17)

We'll give the headline a ready-made entrance. In the rail on the right, click more. Here are the text's Animate choices, ready for us to change.

### Choose Rise (0:27)

We'll lift and fade the letters in. Choose rise. Below it, By is set to letter, so each arrives on its own.

### By letter (0:36)

Let's watch the letters arrive in order. Press zero, then space to play from the start. There it is, the whole headline. Press space again to stop.

### Group by word (0:47)

We'll give each word its own entrance. Now choose word in the By row. The same rise moves each group. Leave Order at first to last.

### By word (0:58)

Let's compare that entrance. Press zero and space again. This time, whole words arrive together. It's still one text layer. Press space to stop.
