## In this lesson

### Just the move (0:07)

Let's watch the unprepared move in Creator Terminal. Press zero, then space. The circle moves right and stops, without warning before leaving. Press space to pause.

### Prepare the eye (0:21)

Let's prepare the eye with a small pull-back. Press zero. Click the circle. In the score, press K for the next key. In the rail, click the first Position value. Type four hundred and sixty, then return. Now it moves backwards. This is anticipation, preparation that makes the next move feel intended.

### Travel past (0:44)

Let's carry its weight beyond the destination. Press K again, to the arrival key. In the rail, click the first Position value. Type one thousand four hundred and forty, then return. Now it travels past its destination. Losing speed takes time.

### Settle back (1:02)

Let's see it settle after that overshoot. Press K for the last key. The rail reads thirteen sixty. On the stage, it returns into place. This is follow-through, movement continuing after the main action, then settling.

### Read the weight (1:18)

Let's watch those three parts together. Click empty stage. Press zero, then space. Watch the little pull-back, the large move, then the smaller return. There it is. It carries weight into its stop. Press space to pause.

### Keep it small (1:35)

Keep those extra moves small. A big wind-up feels slow; a large overshoot feels rubbery. Choose how much preparation and settling the object needs.
