# Check it before it ships

## In this lesson

### A card to check (0:07)

Here's our payment card. Press zero, then space, and watch it come in. Space again stops it.

### Room to look (0:15)

We won't need the timeline, so press colon, type score, and press return. The stage takes its room.

### Run the check (0:23)

An app will set these to anything. A long name, a big number, another language. Beside Tokens, click check. It tries each token at values like those, and lists what goes wrong.

### See what breaks (0:36)

Click the first one, and press space. A long German word. Space to stop. It spills into the button.

### Carry the letters (0:44)

The cross on the bar takes us back. Next, the accents. The file doesn't carry those letters, so an app's text would show gaps. Click carry Latin, and again for the amount. The file grows a little, and any Latin language draws.

### Check again (1:00)

Click check again. One thing left, the long word. That's a design call. Give the line room for two, or have the app shorten names that don't fit.
