## In this lesson

### Start with shape (0:10)

Let's see what players can draw. Press zero, then space. Our coral circle moves across the stage. A player can draw its shape and movement. Press space to pause.

### Add a look (0:23)

Now let's add a surface look. Press zero. Click the circle. In the rail, click plus material. It sits apart from the fill.

### Read the rail (0:32)

Let's check where that look draws. Click more. Above, Mesh names the surface look. The line describes where it draws. Without suitable graphics hardware, this preview draws the layer plain too.

### Choose Lottie (0:45)

Now let's choose Lottie for a player. Click Export, then Lottie JSON. We can reopen the material here. Players draw the plain layer. No file is written yet.

### Read the warning (0:57)

And let's save it to check what players draw. Click Export file. There's a file there already, so open more, and click Keep both. Below, read the warning now.

### Choose pictures (1:08)

So for that surface look, choose pictures. Choose PNG sequence. Pictures and video draw it with suitable graphics hardware. These settings choose size and background. We only change the choice here.

### Check it plain (1:22)

Let's return to what players receive. Click Export to close it. Click the material's cross. Back on stage, press zero, then space. The plain circle still moves. Keep it readable. Press space to pause.
