## In this lesson

### Play the move (0:07)

Let's see the timing we're starting with. Press zero, then space. The circle crosses in one second. Press space again to pause.

### Read the score (0:18)

These two keys mark the start and end of the move. Their distance apart tells us how long it takes. That's timing.

### Give it time (0:26)

We want a slower move. Drag the second key to two seconds. The speed band stretches across a wider gap. We've given the same move twice as long.

### Slower (0:38)

Now we can check the slower move. Press zero, then space to play again. The circle travels the same distance, more slowly. Press space to pause.

### Bring it closer (0:49)

Let's make it quicker instead. Drag that key back to half a second. The keys are much closer together, so the move has less time.

### Quicker (0:59)

Time to compare. Press zero, then space. Much quicker. Same circle, same distance, different timing. Press space to pause.
