# Your agent moves fast. Your taste makes it good.

> Make launch videos, explainers, product lessons, release videos, social versions and interactive Lottie with Creator Terminal.

## Launch videos

Turn your own interface into a launch video. Bring in screens as layers, give the agent a story, then put your hands on the finish.

1. **Bring your app.** Run creator-tui capture in your web project, or pick screens in the browser. Components arrive as named layers.
2. **Give it a direction.** Open Motion Agents (⌃O), choose a film, and describe the story. Add a reference film to teach it the look and pace.
3. **Make it yours.** Move a layer, swap a font, shape a curve, or ask the director to redo one shot.

Try saying this in Motion Agents:

```
Make a launch film from these screens. Lead with the problem, show the product, and end on the sign-up.
```

Outputs: MP4, WebM, MOV, .lottie.

App capture runs on macOS and Linux. On Windows, start with your artwork or paste from a design tool.

## Explainers

Explain a feature, a concept or a whole business. Start with your words; the director plans, voices and builds the film around them.

1. **Give it the story.** Drop a script, a one-pager or an article link into Motion Agents. Ask for a narrated explainer.
2. **Approve the plan.** Review the script and choose the voices before it builds. A recurring cast, shots, narration and music come together.
3. **Find your own style.** Restyle a shot by hand or ask for a new cut. Save the look for your next film, or start with Bright Science or Pastel Friends.

Try saying this in Motion Agents:

```
Make a narrated explainer from this script. Keep my words, use Bright Science, and land the motion on the narration.
```

Outputs: MP4, Voiceover, Music, .lottie.

Directed films need a LottieFiles sign-in and a network connection. Review the script and voices before building.

## Product lessons

Make a short lesson about one feature. Start with a narrated film today; see our own recorded lessons for the workflow we’re building towards.

1. **Write one clear lesson.** Describe what to say and what to show. Give your script to the director to make a narrated film.
2. **Refine the details.** Open a shot in the studio. Change a frame, a font or a layer until the idea is easy to follow.
3. **Learn from our lessons.** Our own lessons use a scripted recorder in this repository, with captions and landscape and vertical cuts.

Try saying this in Motion Agents:

```
Turn this lesson script into a narrated film. Keep the words, explain one feature, and show each step clearly.
```

Outputs: Narrated MP4, Editable shots.

Early: our scripted screen recorder, caption workflow and paired cuts are repo tools. They are not built into the app yet.

## Release videos

Turn your app’s latest changes into a narrated video. Start with release notes, screenshots or a product brief.

1. **Share the context.** Open Motion Agents (⌃O), choose a film and add your release notes, app screens or a short brief.
2. **Review the story.** Creator plans the shots and narration. Review the script and voices before it builds the film.
3. **Make the final cut.** Ask for changes, or open a shot to edit its layers and timing. Use the finished MP4 in your release post, docs or app.

Try saying this in Motion Agents:

```
Make a release video from these notes and app screens. Show what changed, why it matters, and how people can use it.
```

Outputs: Narrated MP4, Editable shots.

Directed films need a LottieFiles sign-in and a network connection.

## Social & versions

Make the announcement square, portrait or wide. Personalise a name, a colour or a score from data, and export a file for every row.

1. **Choose your canvas.** Template size chips offer 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9. Resize your own document in ARTBOARD and adjust the composition.
2. **Add the variations.** Bind text and colour to tokens. Match your CSV column names to those tokens: each row becomes a version.
3. **Send the whole set.** Export with --data to write one file per row. Choose a theme for another look from the same document.

Run in your terminal:

```
creator-tui export card.ctd --data people.csv --format mp4,dotlottie
```

Outputs: MP4, WebM, GIF, WebP, .lottie.

Templates lay themselves out for the chosen size. Your own document may need composition changes after resizing.

## Bring your app into motion.

Capture screens and components as editable layers. Change your app, capture again, and animate between the two.

- **Editable from the start** Retype text, adjust shapes, and animate layers named after your components.
- **Two captures. One transition.** Switch a page or open a menu, then capture again. Shared elements move; new ones appear.
- **Your component shelf** Browse screens and components from your project, with Storybook variants kept together.

Capture runs on macOS and Linux. [See how capture works](https://terminal.lottiefiles.com/docs/capture/)

## Lottie for your app

### UI motion

A like that pops. A loader that loops. An empty state with a little character. Ask the copilot, then shape every key yourself.

[Animate with the copilot](https://terminal.lottiefiles.com/docs/copilot/)

### Animated icons

Trace a picture into vector shapes, animate it, and save the motion as a preset for the next icon in the set.

[Work with shapes and motion](https://terminal.lottiefiles.com/docs/editing/)

### Interactive states

Connect idle, hover and press. Open States (⌃T), set the rules, and try the interaction before exporting a .lottie for your app.

## Install

- macOS & Linux (sh): `curl -fsSL https://terminal.lottiefiles.com/install.sh | sh`
- Windows (PowerShell): `irm https://terminal.lottiefiles.com/install.ps1 | iex`

Run `creator-tui`, open Motion Agents with ⌃O and describe your idea. Video export needs ffmpeg. Directed films also need a LottieFiles sign-in and a network connection.
